i had lots of fun doing this one, especially when remaking their designs to more appealing choices. sah'kyo's hair got shorter because i thought it looked way more cuter and sassier than the original version, i couldn't resist! and as i remember, hi-chan was supposed to be quite sexy? i don't really remember, but experimenting with different body shapes is fun. i hope that's ok, Yukiko-Kun!

i'm very proud of my growth as an artist. i wonder where will i go from now. :)

sah'kyo is my own oc, and hi-chan belongs to Yukiko-Kun

thank you for all the support!

What I really like is how these two character seem to be in harmony with each other. That comes mostly from their matching colour palette. The character designs are very adorable! The shading and lighting look good although it could be much more prominent; as it is now it is too subtle to really add depth.

One suggestion I have is to colour the lineart. The lines don't appear to be black here, but what I mean is to colour the lines so they match the object/thing they encompass. So the lines that represent the hair will also be a pink colour (preferably darker than the base colour). Very dark lines draw unnecessary attention to themselves and can appear unnatural. By colouring the lines, they will blend in to the colour palette and appear to be part of the shapes that the lines encompass.

Another suggestion is to not crop the drawing so closely. Objects (or characters) need room to breathe in a composition otherwise things start feeling cramped. So just expanding the background slightly on the sides and top will loosen things up a bit.

Lovely, colourful work!
